Vehicle & Car Models Developer

About The Role

Developing, modifying, optimizing, and implementing custom vehicle models, liveries, and vehicle-related assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and develop custom vehicle and car models for FiveM.
• Convert and prepare vehicle models for use within GTA V and FiveM environments.
• Develop custom emergency, civilian, commercial, and specialty vehicles.
• Create and implement vehicle liveries, textures, and visual components.
• Configure vehicle handling, vehicle metas, lighting, sirens, and other vehicle-related files.
• Optimize vehicle models, textures, and files to maintain strong server performance.
• Test vehicles for functionality, visual quality, performance, and compatibility.
• Identify and resolve vehicle model, texture, collision, and configuration issues.
• Modify existing vehicle models based on client or project requirements.
• Maintain and update vehicle resources following FiveM and GTA V compatibility changes.
• Work with the Ghost Modifications development team to plan and complete vehicle projects.
• Maintain organized development files and follow Ghost Modifications development standards.
• Assist with quality control before vehicles are released to customers or integrated into projects.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or modifying vehicle models for GTA V/FiveM.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling and vehicle development.
• Familiarity with Blender, ZModeler3, or comparable 3D modeling software.
• Understanding of GTA V vehicle file structures and FiveM resource development.
• Knowledge of vehicle textures, materials, collisions, and model optimization.
• Ability to work with vehicle meta files and basic FiveM configuration files.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical development issues.
• Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and complete assigned development tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a development team.
• Willingness to learn new development techniques and software.
• Previous FiveM development experience is preferred.
• Portfolio or examples of previous vehicle development work are preferred.
