Development Supervisor

About The Role

The Development Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Ghost Modifications development team. This position ensures that development projects are organized, completed to a high standard, and delivered on schedule.

The Development Supervisor serves as a leadership position within the Development Department and works directly with Developers, Senior Developers, Project Leads, and Executive Staff to ensure that all development work meets Ghost Modifications' quality standards.

The Development Supervisor may oversee projects involving FiveM vehicles, EUP, MLOs, scripts, server assets, liveries, optimization, and other custom development services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all members of the Ghost Modifications Development Team.
• Assign development projects and tasks to appropriate Developers.
• Monitor the progress of active development projects.
• Ensure projects are completed within established deadlines.
• Review development work before it is submitted to clients or released publicly.
• Maintain and enforce Ghost Modifications development standards.
• Ensure Developers follow established workflows, procedures, and project requirements.
• Assist Developers with technical issues, project complications, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate between Developers and Executive Staff regarding major projects.
• Communicate project updates, delays, and concerns to appropriate leadership.
• Review client requests and determine appropriate development requirements.
• Help organize development queues and project priorities.
• Ensure developers remain productive and engaged with assigned projects.
• Identify areas where Developers may need additional training or assistance.
• Mentor Junior Developers and assist with professional development.
• Conduct quality-control reviews of vehicles, EUP, MLOs, scripts, liveries, and other assets.
• Ensure development assets are properly optimized for FiveM.
• Verify that projects function properly before release or delivery.
• Assist with testing and debugging development projects.
• Maintain organization of development files, resources, and project documentation.
• Ensure proper version control and backup procedures are followed.
• Help prevent unauthorized distribution or use of Ghost Modifications' development assets.
• Address development-team conflicts and escalate serious issues when necessary.
• Assist Executive Staff with development-related decisions.
• Participate in development meetings and project planning sessions.
• Provide regular reports regarding department activity and project progress.
• Recommend improvements to Ghost Modifications' development processes.
• Assist with recruiting and evaluating potential Developers.
• Help establish development standards and training requirements.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling client projects and company assets.
• Perform other development-management duties assigned by Executive Staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with FiveM development or related game-development projects.
• Strong understanding of the FiveM development environment.
• Experience working with one or more development areas such as EUP, vehicles, MLOs, scripts, textures, or liveries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a development team.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of development quality-control processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Developers, clients, and Executive Staff.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage project priorities.
• Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on development work.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively within a team.
• Professional and dependable attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company and client projects.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience with Git, version control, or similar development-management tools is preferred.
• Experience with Blender, 3ds Max, CodeWalker, OpenIV, Photoshop, Substance Painter, or similar development software is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lua, JavaScript, C#, XML, JSON, or other FiveM-related development languages is preferred.
• Experience optimizing FiveM assets for performance is preferred.
