Director of Finance

About The Role

The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, budgeting, revenue management, expense tracking, and financial planning of Ghost Modifications. This position ensures that the company's finances are properly documented, organized, and managed while supporting executive leadership in making responsible financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of Ghost Modifications
• Develop and maintain company budgets and financial plans
• Track company revenue, expenses, profits, and losses
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Monitor incoming payments and company expenditures
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and authorization
• Prepare regular financial reports for the Executive Team
• Assist executive leadership with financial planning and decision-making
• Establish and maintain financial procedures and internal controls
• Monitor department and project budgets
• Review invoices, purchases, subscriptions, and other company expenses
• Identify unnecessary expenses and recommend cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain organized records of company financial activity
• Work with department leadership regarding budgets and approved spending
• Ensure company funds are used appropriately and for authorized business purposes
• Assist with financial forecasting and long-term financial planning
• Report significant financial concerns or irregularities to the Chief Executive Officer
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company financial information
• Assist with audits, financial reviews, and internal investigations when required

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an executive team
• Previous financial, accounting, business management, or administrative experience preferred
• Understanding of business revenue, expenses, and financial reporting preferred
